Limited vinyl LP pressing. Ten is the debut studio album by Pearl Jam, released on August 27, 1991 through Epic Records. Following the disbanding of bassist Jeff Ament and guitarist Stone Gossard's previous group Mother Love Bone, the two recruited vocalist Eddie Vedder, guitarist Mike McCready, and drummer Dave Krusen to form Pearl Jam in 1990. Most of the songs began as instrumental jams, to which Vedder added lyrics about topics such as depression, homelessness, and abuse. Ten was not an immediate success, but by late 1992 it had reached #2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album produced three hit singles: "Alive", "Even Flow", and "Jeremy".

    You want your turntable to sound better than your CD player. This album knocks it outta the park. Those who say it sounds like their CDs are crazy. I had 3 CD versions of this album from the first release. This sounds incredible. The cymbals the Drums the Base. The guitar. The vocals are perfect. So ya. Boo to you who don’t go for this. It’s perfection cranked.

    This is the original mix of Ten. This is the album I would have worn out in the 90’s if I didn’t have it on CD. Great vinyl, keep it clean (and scratch free) and you’ll be rewarded with great tunes

    13x platinum debut of Pearl Jam re-issued on vinyl!!!

    So glad this was re-issued! The pressing sounds great. The cover seems flimsier than I remember, but all the re-issued vinyl and new vinyl seems to be like that. Get off my lawn!
