    A Treasure

    This is a classic old time western. Life and cinema done in a way fewer and fewer remember. A time when a story line could just wander along, and you could be content to snuggle in and enjoy.

    My Darling Clementine is an excellent western which I had not seen for fifty years. I am glad I took the chance and ordered and watched it again.

Henry Fonda and Linda Darnell are in top form here and their characters are engaging. Walter Brennan plays his usual character excellently as always This movie is a keeper, now in my permanent collection.

    One of the greatest westerns ever made.

    The definitive John Ford western. John Ford was one of our greatest directors who could get the most out of the story, actors and locale. He got one of the best acting jobs of his life from Victor Mature as Doc Holliday. Who most of hollywood thought was a good looking stiff. Henry Fonda who was always superb brings Wyatt Earp to life as a person. Using monument Valley as the backdrop this movie brings intense drama and action together to make one of the greatest westerns ever made. A must have for any serious film buff.

    Tittle makes sense when you watch the movie.

    Never had seen this movie. Bought lit because COWBOYS AND INDIANS placed it in the top 100 westerns of all times. Glad I did, is a good movie.

    Great Old Movie that is still good today

    Although the plot stalls out at a couple of points, this is a great old movie that follows a legendary mans life. I have loved this story and have watched every movie that has come out and this is one of the better ones. To watch how this family sticks together through everything is heart wrenching, and there really is no true life happy ending for all of them, but they do win out over evil eventually.
