Inovative manga blends american hip-hop and pop culture
Tokyo Tribes suprised me more than I expected.The style is very american but works well with the story. The story follows different 'Tribes' or gangs that control different parts of tokyo. The setting is Tokyo but the are many american influences such as urban and hip-hop espically. The story flows smooth with many innovative and creative turns and surprises. If you love shock content this is the manga for you althrough is has uneeded censor bars which is the only hard part of reading this manga.Tokyo Tribes suprised me more than I expected.The style is very american but works well with the story.
