Cement Vs. Tape.
This cement is so much better than the Tape for tubular s due to the problem most have with the installation of the tire. The tape are easy to put on but when you are installing the tire it tens to roll as you try to adjust the center bead on the rim and then you will be concerned about a bad adhesion in that a spot. the glue take all the guessing out of the equations as you coat both the rim and the ire and also your spare and let it dry then install and it is easy to roll the tire on with out the problem of tape rolling and to get your alignment of the center bead. Exceptional cementing power but a little tough to get on.
The product has exceptional cementing power and came highly recommended, however, it was super thick and hard to apply. It may have been because the shipping took so long to arrive, that it was harder than usual to apply, but ultimately I was apply to apply 3 coats to both wheels. It literally is the only product recommended for carbon wheels and under normal circumstances it is probably the best cement for carbon wheels. To compensate, I set the cannister in a hot pale of water to allow for easier application. Thus far the Cement seems to be holding very well but at the price paid for this 7oz cannister, I expected flawless execution as well as easy installation..
