    Knitted only one project so far, but will knit more of them

    Good selection of patterns using Cascade worsted and sport weight yarns, so it's sasy to adapt patterns to other yarns. Lots of hat patterns, baby through adult, but also shawls, baby sweaters, mittens and fingerless gloves, purses/bags, basic sock patterns. There are 4 or 5 felted projects, too, including a cute elephant softie toy. Patterns are thorough, clearly written, and easy to follow. A number of colorwork and charted patterns are included, too. So there is something for every skill level. I paid as less for this whole book (used, exc condition) as I have on a single pattern. At that price, it's a great value.

    Lots of quick gift ideas

    This is a good book full of quick small projects. The patterns feature Cascade 220 yarn which is a great product but other brands could be substituted. A good addition to a knitting library.
