    Great motion fluidity, clear and tack sharp

    Pros: ► Screen is bright, clear, very sharp and colorful ► Diopter knob has nice clicks when changing +/- setting ► Clicks and locks in place when in the down position ► When moved up it stays in its place, no falling back down. ► Using manual lenses I would highly recommend the VF-4. Cons: ► The screen picks up grease easily and it is a little hard to clean. ► The depth of the screen is shallow and hard to use with any eye-wear. ► Some difficulty on bright days due to a small eye cup. Wish it was larger. On bright sunny days it can become quite the nuisance. I seem to cup my hand over the EVF to block out light. Living in Arizona we have quite a lot of bright sunny days.

    I don't leave home with my Olympus e-PL5 without it

    I love using this EVF. It's such a great thing to have on my old but reliable Olympus e-PL5, especially when traveling. I hardly ever take it off the camera, usually when I need to throw on a flash unit to handle a back-lit subject. The diopter really comes in handy when I forget my reading glasses. Really, really happy I picked this up.

    Best EVF on the market

    This is a must have for Pen users. Especially if you shoot with adapted Legacy lenses. With high resolution view - it is easy to nail focus. Also, on bright sunny days - it is much easier to compose a shot than using the glaring LCD screen. Plus, this VF-4 has a locking mechanism securely stays put on the hot shoe, unlike the previous VF-2 which does not lock in and keeps sliding off.

    Excellent quality

    Works as specified. Excellent image clarity. Almost like an optical viewfinder. Snap on easily and stays put. Easy to remove and stow in bag when needed. Works beautifully on all lighting conditions. Especially useful in bright light, where it's difficult to see The main LCD screen. Highly recommended.

    Worth the extra money

    I replaced my vf-1 viewfinder with this new one. I was going to buy avf-2 but for a little more I got the VF-4 from Japan. The image is about 25% larger with this model and much clearer. Well worth the money
