    Well worth the money

    This is my first machine as I just learned how to use one. This was super easy to learn on and use for a total nooby. And it handled several layers of fleece and seat belt material. It will save me thousands of dollars on repairs to my hunting gear. Couldn't be happier with it.

    Lightweight and functional.

    II read that Singer designed this for people who make Cosplay costumes because they use thicker materials than normal. For the price I think it is a great deal. As far as calling heavy duty I dont know. It's not an industrial machine, but it is faster than a notmal sewing machine. It is better than I expected it to be for the price.

    Refurb singer heavy duty sewing machine

    Even though it was advertised as refurbished, this thing is immaculate. Runs strong and smooth. I'm a complete noob at sewing, yet i already hemmed 2 sweatpants, sewn a Harley patch on a leather and no issues. Very happy with this purchase.

    More power than needed for most projects

    Easy threading and bobbin loading. I can't say it sews any better Than my old White, but it has twice the power. I bought this machine to sew some heavy leather and it never miss a beat. It also has twice the number of stitches available.
