    Best blades I've ever bought?

    So, let me start off by addressing the price. This is a product that is more expensive than most other blades, and it's what kept me from buying it for a while despite the fact that it's so hyped, and so many wet shavers recommend these, including some of the most reputable and respected names in the hobby. So, I understand, but having finally received them I can now fully say that I'm very happy that I got them. I've got some really nice blades in my collection that have come highly recommended, such as Feather Hi-Stainless, Gillette Platinum, Gillette Silver Blue, Perma-Sharp, and these are probably the best blades that I've used. I think the Gillette Platinums give them a really good run for their money, but I think the second shave with the Wizamets is better than the second shave with ...

    Excellent Blades, Increasingly Rare

    Wizamet was a popular Polish razor blade brand that was bought out by Gillette, which shut down production in the home country and moved production to its famous Saint Petersburg plant in Russia. Under a new name (PolSilver Super Iridium). the blades aren't quite as good but still higher quality than many competing brands. So, if you can get your hands on blades manufactured prior to the move, grab them up quickly before someone else does. And if you can find pre-Gillette Wizamets...good luck finding them because those are now incredibly rare. Still, these babies are super sharp and leave no irritation. You'll get a good seven to ten shaves from each blade.

    Great Blade

    Great blade, can be difficult to find, hear different things, i.e. "its out of production", "its in production". Assuming they might actually be out of production, recommend picking up a supply of these blades. Provide a smooth, close comfortable shave and this blades have lasted up to 7 shaves.

    The best blades you can buy!

    Wizamet blades are very sharp, last for many,many shaves and are extremely smooth. After trying several types of blades, the Wizamet is by far the best of the best.

    Wizamet Super Iridium

    The best double edge razor blades but hard to find and so a little bit pricey. Even better than Polsilver Super Iridium which are also very good but not quite as good. As sharp as Feather blades but smoother. Very similar to Wilkinson Sword blades I remember back in the 1970’s - when they were still made in the UK.
