AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Wish I could rate less than 1 star. After placing my order, I waited 5 days and received no information about shipping status. Elder Scroll IV: Shivering Isles
Shivering Isles as many know is the first and only expansion pack (official that is, many add-ons like Knights of the Nine were also great hits) for Oblivion. Played it, loved it, did it twice. Great game. The true question now is... When will TES:V come out and is the(most popular) rumor true that it is to be held in Skyrim? Not the biggest fan of the Nords myself, but I hope at least that you start out in a somewhat civilized place rather than Morrowind. Oblivion is the exception because, well, your in prison. :) Back to the game, there is no finer. Shivering Isles comes complete with many new armor sets and challenges for the courageous adventurer. Do not be fooled to think that this is an easy expansion; the Gatekeeper is a fierce foe. For those up for a challenge, this is the ... It takes place in to early dark ages and follows in the footsteps of the first Oblivion game. You start out as a prisoner who witnesses the Emperors murder and are, from that moment on, Cyrodils only hope for salvation as you must now find the one and only heir to the throne and keep him safe from the Oblivion demons. (About 200 hours of game-play) Amazing game! Most defiantly something a serious or first time player can get into. To explain this in one word? "HUGE" This game has serious roaming options. For first time players, this game offers unlimited playing with a chance to see what a free roaming RPG is like. Whether you follow the main quest or simply wander aimlessly around doing odd jobs for NPC, go monster smashing, or diving into deep dungeons and caves that litter the ... The shivering isles is the realm of madness, ruled by Sheogorath. This expansion to Oblivion is a great addition to a great game. Nearly every character you'll meet in the new realm is crazy in one way or another, which keeps things interesting.. you never know what they might say. The quests are plentiful enough and the main questline is long enough to be worth it. This expansion also comes with the Knights of the Nine which is a fun quest which rewards your character with some nice armor. Better to buy both on disk than pay for each seperately from xbox live. Overall it is recommended to any who enjoyed Oblivion and perhaps feels bored with the land of Cyrodiil and want a new area to explore.The shivering isles is the realm of madness, ruled by Sheogorath.
