Best toaster ever
I've bought 5 toasters in the past year only to give them to the Goodwill. This is the first toaster that I've purchased that actually browns the toast evenly every time. I love this toaster and would buy it again. It's worth every penny.

It's easy to see how toasted the bread is and handles long slices well, but still has the problem of one side of the toast is darker than the other.

Ideal for short slices of bread, and perfect browning control. Not deep enough to fully toast tall bread. Love the clear vision of doneness!
This toaster is ideal for short bread like Artisan bread! It also works extremely well on wide, short bread like sliced sourdough rounds. But it's not deep enough to completely accommodate taller bread, therefore it won't toast the very top edges. I like Orowheat Buttermilk bread, and the top 1/2 inch of the slices just couldn't get toasted. I learned to set the toaster for half as long, then stop and flip the bread upside down and toast it the rest of the way, but can become tiresome. On Artisan bread, this is the best toaster! The dial is very precise and you can get ANY shade of toast that you want. I would have preferred it to be just a bit deeper. I loved being able to see the bread as it toasts. This is a PERFECT toaster for SHORT bread slices, just not large sandwich loaf slices. ... This toaster is ideal for short bread like Artisan bread! really nice toaster
