  • Great album

The first album of Alice in Chains, every song is just awesome, perfect, to listen it again and again every day!!!!

  • Strong debut.

As far as debut albums go, this one is very strong. Alice in Chains proved themselves to be more mature than just about every other grunge band right from the get-go. "Man in the Box" is the most famous song on this album, but I prefer "We Die Young," both of which feature how awesome and powerful Layne Staley's voice was. "Sea of Sorrow" is an excellent all around song and should've been a huge hit for them. Also, check out "I Know Somethin (Bout You)" to hear one of the catchiest intros they've ever done. This is a good album--not their best in my opinion (that honor would go to "Dirt" or "Jar of Flies")--but absolutely must be in any fan's collection!
