    A familiar friend

    This is a wonderful reference for decoding/learning scientific nomenclature. I have had it since the 70's, but loaned it out & it was lost. I was thrilled to find this PDF, which even includes the familiar blue and green cover.

    Nice and descriptive title.

    I have found this to be a very helpful book, I got it because I am a Biology major and it helps a great deal when learning scientific names, etc. I would recommend learning word roots to anyone in a scientific field and anyone in general as it is very beneficial to know.

    Extremely helpful when learning human anatomy terms

    If your taking an anatomy class or similar this book is a great help. I would have been lost without it. I tend to struggle in science classes and this helped me a great deal to understand the terms.
