Recommendations: (1) Shoot in the open hole at 2380' to break up the two strings of sidetracked 41" casing, ami the Junk cavity plugged with cement in order to prevent this junk from serving as a conduit for the passage of water j.t some future time. (2) After plugging solidly with cement against the walls of the formations up to 2G25', the cement plug should be extended on up 20' inside of the 61" casing. (3) The cement plug from 1030' to 980' should be placed in two stages, the first to be against the walls of the formations from 1030' to 1003'. Southern Pacific Co. well No. 1. (Report No. T 4-2627.) Bailing test not approved. 66" casing cemented at 2285'. Hole bailed to 1675' for test and stood 24 hours. Water entered at rate of S.5 bbl. In 24 hours. Southern Pacific Co. well No. 1. ( Report No. P 4-2957.) Proposal to abandon approved. Conditions: 16" S.P. landed at 247'; 12J" landed ut 1003'; 770' of 10" landed at 1720'; 650' of 8" cemented at 2300'; 6g" cemented at 2385'; 106' of 4J" landed at 2506'. Depth of hole 2560'. Bottom joint of 6g" bad. Hole plugged with cement from 2400' to 2380'. Water coming in through hole in 6S." Proposed to shoot cavity at 2370', then dump in cement up to about 2250': shoot cavity at 2250' and pull 68" if possible, then plug with cement. Tf the 6g" can not be pulled from 2250'. will till cavity with cement to 2230'; then recover as much 6g" as possible, plugging top of casing left In hole with cement; plug top of 81" and 10" casing in hole with cement; then recover as much 12 j" as possible.
