About this product

Product Information

Based on the 2007 film, Transformers invites gamers into a world of mechanized shape-shifters called the Autobots and the Decepticons. By selecting an alliance, gamers will work their way through one of two campaigns and ultimately decide to defend Earth or watch it burn. As a robot, players experience combat in seven fully destructible environments as they attempt to complete objectives and missions including destroying drones. When gamers are in car form, they can compete in a variety of point-to-point races. Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, and Ironhide make a return in the game, and players can shift from vehicle to robot on the fly.

The item box was fairly used and I had to clean the disc to make it work. This is how the item was described. It was the best priced copy of the game. It arrived on time and as pictured.

  • The Most Underrated Game Of The Year?

GRAPHICS - 9.2/10 SOUND / MUSIC - 8.9/10 CONTROLS - 8.5/10 GAMEPLAY - 9.0/10 REPLAY VALUE - 9.4/10 There are two angles in the game to play; the Autobot perspective, and the Decepticon perspective. The brilliant part is that they aren't just mirror-images of each other, or the one side in reverse. A big thanks and kudos to the team who made these two very distinct storylines. As you progress along the stories you earn bonus features, which are largely just images from the movie or the old cartoons. The images are not in any kind of order either, so of 160+ "shots" maybe you've unlocked numbers 25, 79, and 152 and have to scan the entire list, one at a time, to see them. If you've been fortunate enough to discover a couple of consecutive images, you can't go to the next one without first ...

  • a good game .. TO RENT, definately not to own

This is definately a 2 day rent-to-beat game. I see no point in buying this game. I just rented it and within under 12 hours of playtime, I beat it. I did not do all the side missions, but the main story does not take too long. The graphics are great and gameplay is fun. You can play as the Autobots (good guys) or the Decepticons (bad guys). I played the Decipticons' missions first, which made going back to the Autobots' so much easier. One cool feature is the slow-motion when you destroy an opposing bot (kinda like the movie 300). It really makes things look cool. The enviornment is very big and almost everything is fair game. You can even climb buildings and throw cars.. although, there really is too much need for throwing cars. All in all, great game to rent, missions are ...

  • Transformers the Game is for any Transformers Fan

Over all, this game is pretty good. You can play two different story lines, the autobots or the decepticons. Though the the two story lines don't intertwine together, but they both end up having a good old fashion fight between Optimus vs Megatron. To me the Autobot missions were easier to do than the Decepticon missions. One thing that frustrated me in this game was the controls for the decepticons in disguise mode. Due to most of the decepticons were aviation vehicles, its harder to fly than drive. I thought the graphics look great and each robot you fight had a different characteristics whether it was you fighting the main opponent or you fighting some other useless robot. Oh, if you like to blow up stuff, this is your game. I bought this game because I am a long time transformers ...

  • Transformers Game (it sucks)

Okay, here's the dope. I have a 5 year old that loves transformers, the cartoons, the movies, you name it. So being a Dad, I bought the video game with him in mind. The game sucks. Aren't games supposed to be fun?? okay so you can blow stuff up and beat on other robots, but if you follow the game (as its the only option there really is no choice) you have to go through level by level. So you complete one level, then the next more challenging level and then you failed (yes thats how they put it) the next level, you have to go back to the very beginning and start again. These are not easy levels either. So I gave up trying after a few hours of frustration. I undersatnd demographics and the need to make challenging games, but this is just no fun at all. The graphics are pretty ...
