    Great intro to the Discworld universe for graphic novel enthusiasts.

    I love Discworld with all of my heart and have been waiting to spring it on my kid the moment he's old enough. He's an avid graphic novel reader, so I thought this would be a good introduction to The Disc. I was correct. He thinks it's hilarious. He's fallen asleep on the book after staying up too late at least three times, which I think is a pretty good review in its own right! As for the story arcs in the Discworld universe, Guards! is very early on and a good introduction to the series even though it isn't the first book in the universe. It works as a stand alone story or your first book in the Discworld series.
