This has been my best experience on eBay since forever. The communication was excellent, addressing all concerns I had, no matter how minor, both before and after the sale. The packaging was top-notch, the kind that would for sure minimize any challenges with postal service quality. The precautions taken were appreciated since the item was a true rarity. The little gift... a true customer delight experience. Thank you.

    AMD Athlon FX-60

The fastest of the 939 series. Easy to over clock to 3.2 ghz, depending on motherboard. I use it for an older D.A.W. PC. The fastest dual core chip at the time, beat intel to it. It's supremely reliable & very powerful for its vintage (2004/5) If you use a single or dual core 939 CPU & can upgrade. It's logical. Get this, it's the most powerful of the line. Will make one very happy as an upgrade from a slower CPU.

  • Excellent CPU for 939 socket

...this is the best CPU for 939 socket... I finally got it..)) AMD has resolved the situation by launching the latest version of the Athlon FX as FX-60 rather than FX-59, and the big news is that it’s a dual core processor. The new FX has a clock speed of 2.6GHz, which is nominally 200MHz slower than the 2.8GHz FX-57, while the X2 4800+ runs at 2.4GHz. In many respects the FX-60 is a pair of FX-55s in a single Socket 939 processor, or if you prefer you could think of it as an Athlon 64 X2 5000+. Naturally the FX-60 is unlocked.

  • Perform great and very reliably.

I had AMD Athlon 2 x 2.3 GHz Dual Core processor and with the change with AMD Athlon 64 FX 2.6 GHz, I notice perform really good with fast speed and it is very relialy on my AlienWare Aurora M7700 with Windows 7. Will let my fiends know about this product.

  • With this CPU my old socket 939 system is still a great gaming machine.

I used this CPU to upgrade my old Asus A8N5X motherboard. I have 4 gig Kingston HyperX RAM and a Geforce 8800GT video card running Windows 7 64 bit. With this CPU (at 2.8 Ghz, 1.4 volts) I can still run new games smoothly at 1920 X 1080 resolution. I can't always max out the other graphics settings, but most of the time I can just crank them all up. It's stable at 2.8 Ghz (@1.4 volts) and is worth the upgrade - if you don't want to spend the money to build a new system.

  • number one:)

In his time a great processor and today fully sufficient to cover some new game titles, of course the matching report. Unlocked multiplier, excellent thing, a stable overclock just below 2.8 GHz, particularly at 2781.5 MHz and increased tensions on the border of 1.400 V. In the configuration: MSI Platinum SLI nForce4-SLI 2x 9800 GT in SLI mode (core: 710MHz, shaders: 1775MHZ, memory: 1010MHz) 4GB RAM, dual channel mode. The operating system is accelerated with SSD HDD:) all on Windows 64-bit 7Ultimate. Summary: old but still powerful:)
