Easy to follow and really gets me sweating in only 20 mins
Pro's: - super easy to follow, no need to be a martial artist - love the 20 min workouts, one geared towards upper body, another for legs, and one for abs - totally gets the heart rate up and sweating - feels like a total body workout despite the target areas for each section - got this video really cheap on eBay :) Cons: - wish there were slightly longer sections of cardio - it's fun kicking and punching! - I'm not coordinated so some of the combo's mess up my flow. I just keep doing my own simple kicking or punching though. - there is a section on how to do the moves correctly. It's ok, but don't expect to take anyone down soon. Overall, I really enjoyed this and it's a great workout. It'll be in my dvd player until I lose 20 lbs. Highly recommend this and the kicking/punching is ... I have always been a fan of Jillian Michaels upon discovering her on "The Biggest Loser" as a coach. I find her to be authentic in her delivery while presenting you with the best alternative while attempting to achieve your goal, fitness. Initially I bought the DVD for the kickboxing aspect, I figured it was cheaper than going to a gym with the health crisis of today. What I discovered almost immediately, what a great self-defense DVD it is also. I'm a single woman living in her own truth and I will not be afraid to venture outside my front door. I find that there are many ways of self protection and kicking someone in the head by surprise with ease is one of the many facets you're discover in this DVD. It is hard at first. I only did what I could at first. It is getting better and I can see the results of my effert. Yes I would recommand this just take your time and your speed until you are comfortable with it but don't get lazy with it. I myself have medical issues so going at my own pace but not to easy. Yes I am over weight by I weighted 282 when I began this I weigh 272 yea its not much but its something.It is hard at first. I only did what I could at first.
