    The perfect tool for me.

I like how I can quickly change the blade and it never falls out, the extra long cord which means a lot of times I don't need an extension cord. It's small and compact but big enough to do just about any other job that I need, from pipes underneath the sink to an exhaust pipe under my car. Being able to hold it confidently with one hand and using the variable speed trigger to precisely use the correct speed on the material I'm cutting through so I'm in control of the tool the whole time.

  • Lightweight , smooth running, convenient.

Comfortable, balanced feel in the hand , smooth running, easy blade changes. BUT RIGID WOULD NOT ACCEPT WARRANTY REGISTRATION as I HAD NOT PURCHASED FROM HOME DEPOT !!!! NOT IMPRESSED as regard this important aspect of buying RIGID ! If you can buy a supplemental service plan I would therefore recommend that .

  • Rigid Saws All - light weight and powerful

The item I purchased was listed as used but is essentially brand new and even included the paperwork and original box. This is a good one hand reciprocating saw that can handle hard jobs. I recently used one to cut through a 12" beam when remodeling a house. You get a lot of saw for the price with this model.

  • A must have for repairmen

This is my second one and for good reasons. I overused the first, liking it too much and using it for tasks where i should have used the big one. Simply said, it's one of the best buys i made in the past 8 years. Other best buy was the 12 volts lithium powered Milwauki hand drill which follows me anywhere, i need to drill or screw, in a jiffy. The saw is very handy because of the short travel of the blade which is great cutting assorted floor moldings, copper pipes in hard to get in corners+ it has light. There is hardly one job i've done, where i did not use the tool and it's why i needed a replacement. The other still works but the shaft is a bit loose and can't see paying repairs that would amount to the price of the tool
