  • Why This Book Gives A Good Read

I think this book will surprise you. The graphics are ordinary, but exceptional as sidewald chalkword goes. I found this very appropriate artform for the story. The writing is very real. I found it heart-felt and honest. It gripped me, and I raced thought it, imagining myself reading it to my children and grandchildren. Actually, the first time I got a chance to read it, I shared reading it to a 37 year old man that I was tutoring. We both enjoyed it, and took away this books special message. The down-side of the story, was the predictably rash statements of the olderbrother, but the heartfelt, indominable responses from the younger brother always kept the story alive. I grew to love the mother in the story, as I'm sure, you will too. W. in IL

  • Black Snowman by Phil Mendez

I am a collector of Snowmen, and this includes books about snowmen, as I am an avid reader. This book caught my attention because of the ethnicity of the characters in this story. I did read this book & found it to be a good story. A good book to add to my collection.
