    Collectors Guide to Tonka Trucks, Don DeSalle

    This is the ONLY Tonka guide in the world...pretty easy to like...there's been four printings, the new one is red. They concentrate on the vintage all steel models from 1947-1963 only. There's plenty of great pictures but with minmal text and descriptions. Also, we'd have preferred if they'd laid it out by model year instead of by the individual models together by year. peace-OUT!

    Excellent and only official resource guide for Tonkas

    Excellent resource for collecting Tonka Toys. Book is filled with excellent information. The book needs to be updated and list current values in order to stay on top of the Tonka market. It could use some updated information on some of the private label rigs and equipment that are out there now. I have found several examples of Tonkas that are original but NOT LISTED in this guide. Otherwise this is a very good book to have for any collector of Tonkas
