    The right book for the right reasons

    The book was most informative and a "must have" even if you want to purchase a "reproduction" ring. The book is simple and easy to read and understand. The photos are very high quality and making a selection on a ring (either original or reproduction) much easier and gives you the knowledge to ask the right questions of the seller to help determine if a ring is right for you. Great and interesting book.

    A worthless tome

    This book is shunned by the collector community. The original price was very much higher but due to the inaccuracies and speculative theories in this book, it rarely sells at shows or to knowledgeable collectors. It is generally considered pure speculation in it's content and has at best in my opinion, some nice pictures.
