Product Information

The classic board game of world domination returns to PC with a number of enhancements. Players can either follow the original game's rules or choose between two variants: receiving randomly dealt territories or picking territories one by one until all are claimed off the board. Other computer-specific features include the ability to play against up to five AI opponents, save games already in progress, and speed up the action with an optional automatic dice mode. Encore's edition of Risk also includes voice clips designed to inject some lighthearted humor in the otherwise serious strategy game.

    Risk II by Habro

    This is the best PC Risk game available. Unfortunately, because it is an older game it will not play on a lot of newer versions of Windows (from at least Windows 8 up). There are way around it if you research, but it is annoying. I'm not a computer guy and don't understand why simple programs are too complicated for more advanced hardware.

PROS: YOU HAVE TO REALLY THINK CRITICALY ABOUT DIFFERENT ATTACKING TACTICS AND REINFORCEMENT STRATEGIES FOR ALL YOUR ARMIES. CONS: THIS GAME IS ADDICTIVE. TIME WILL FLY BY WHEN YOU PLAY THIS GAME.

    RISK and STRATEGO pc games are great fun and entertainment

    I have windows xp and the risk game plays great, hours of great entertainment. I also received a statego game, which gave me trouble getting it to play at first, a error message telling me "unable to copy font file to system directory" which tells me who knows what, so I restart my computer and it will then play. I have restarted with the game in or out of the computer and it will always play. But if you play a game or two, then exit you'll have to restart again to play more. I really like statego, it's alot of fun, it's not always easy to find someone to play a game with but the computer is always willing. I highly recommend both RISK and STRATEGO pc games, or board games for that matter.

    Best PC Risk version

    I've owned this game since Windows XP and it still works perfectly on Windows 10. I've tried the newer versions but prefer this one because it doesn't waste time with animated battles.

    Risk (Hasbro Interactive Version - 1996/1997)

    This is by far the best version of Risk that has been made for the PC. It has realistic play, great AI, LAN capabilities, fast dice...but what separates it from all the other versions - 5 different maps!!! Risk is great, but if you are playing the computer, it could get old after a while; however, with the 5 different maps, the game is always changing. A great buy. Hours of entertainment. I have bought other versions, but I always go back to this one!
