  • As good or better than the film!!!

I already bought this book once and it instantly sprouted legs and has disappeared so apparently someone out there agrees that this "guide" is just as funny - if not funnier than the film!!! Like most good things, its in the details... on a map of the area bordering Uzbekistan there is an area marked "minefield" the entire length of the border. You notice a bunch of the similar little marks ALL over Uzbekistan - the legend reads: "PROPOSED Minefield" - Everything from Boltok (? can't remember now, someone took my book!) The Rapist - and Borats father, to Johnny the Monkey, Kazahkstans most famous porn star - there are too many twisted bits of awesome sickness to count! I just hope he doesn't run out of more great material for an even better sequel. A MUST BUY for any Borat fan - or anyone ...

Very funny book especially if you love the movie

  • BORAT By Borat Sagdiyev (Harcover, 2007)

Loved the movie, actually laughed out loud at parts that my superego found offensive, so thought that the book might be fun, too. Not so much. The text is carefully written to evoke Borat's on-screen voice, but the concept is derivative and redundant, if one has seen the movie. If one has not saeen the movie, then the book will likely only be bewildering since the visual enhances the words.
