The prints in this series are printed on what is called rag paper, an antique paper that is stronger and far more enduring than the newspaper material we use today. CONDITION: EXCELLENT / FINE -- The prints in this series are clear, clean, bright. No tears or folds (except for centerfold). A really fine image. Excellent definition. Nice clean, sharp lines, and wide margins. (Note: There are no holes at the centerfold, which is very unusual for these large two page prints.) This two-page centerfold print is over 135 years old and guaranteed to be original. It is an authentic old print from the aforementioned newspaper and NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION.”
