Product Information

The first video game based on the Bakugan license combines the action of the collectible card game with a storyline penned by writers of the animated series. Players will engage rivals in a series of battles to develop their unseasoned Bakugan brawler into a fierce competitor. The action first involves throwing Bakugan cards onto the ground before tossing a Bakugan ball toward them. When two balls land on the same card, they will transform into powerful monsters that will fight over the card. Bakugan Battle Brawlers offers an assortment of distinctive battle arenas, featuring various shapes, sizes, traps, and other distinguishing elements. Forty Bakugan are available to collect and defeat, with hundreds of cards included to fine-tune strategies. Battle the computer or challenge friends to a multiplayer match with custom rules. The "Collector's Edition" features an extra Bakugan named Naga and a special Naga battle ball.

Good product, not as good as on other platforms
The packaging hides a few details about this product. First, the collector's edition does include Naga collector's Bakugan ball (which was a big factor in getting this for my son) and a card and also includes the DS game, however it does NOT include a case for the DS game or the cover art that you would get if you bought the regular version of this game, however you do get to keep the box so you can keep some spare Bakugans in it :) My son loved the Naga Bakugan but expected the G-power on it to be higher (it was only 650). Regarding the game itself, if you are a fan of Bakugan you should buy it for sure, however compared to same game on other platforms, such as the Playstation 2, it pales a bit in comparison. The graphics are ok, but the point counting is not as good and it doesn't talk ... The packaging hides a few details about this product. One of the main features of Collector's Edition version is the bonus Bakugan that comes with it. The true (and only) version of the "Naga" Bakugan is going to be white with grey/silver highlights. Bakugan Battle Brawlers DS game Fun for kids
We bought this game for our 4 1/2 year old son. He LOVES it. He caught on to it very quickly. He loves being able to purchase new Bakugan and different abilities for them. I think that the gameplay is suitable for his age. It's not too difficult for him but it's not a game that guarantees a win every time it's played. It's still challenging to win the battles. My husband and I take our turns playing it and both enjoy it as well.We bought this game for our 4 1/2 year old son. He LOVES it. He caught on to it very quickly. He loves being able to purchase new Bakugan and different abilities for them. I think that the gameplay is suitable for his age. It's not too difficult for him but it's not a game that guarantees a win every time it's played. It's still challenging to win the battles. Bought this game as a gift for someone. The package is really neat! It is a DS game that comes in a decorated cardboard case, which has a plastic window with the white collector piece Bakugon in it. I assume the typical plastic game case is inside with the game in it, of course. I won't be opening this game myself, and maynot see the gameplay either, but I hope describing the physical characteristics will at least be of interest to you collectors out there, who plan on buying this as a collector's item.Bought this game as a gift for someone. I bought the game for my grandson how is 7 years old and he love playing the game. He has many DS game but the Bakugan / Battle Brawlers ( Collector's Edition ) was very easy for him to learn the game in no time.
