    Good product, but there is learning curve

    This is a great product, but it has a learning curve. It's important that no one else is speaking while trying to learn/use the product as it will pick up other voices. My husband had a stroke and wanted to use speaking software as both his hand and speech were affected. Typing is difficult, so speaking emails is more desirable. Initially the first trial of the software picked up his voice and accurately transcribed. The second tryout wasn't as successful and, consequently, he has hesitated to try again as he's nervous it will use up his trials. In my attempts to help him set it up, it picked up my voice as well. We think this may be a useful tool in him practicing his speech, but it has required calls to the help line and a purchase of a Dragon Speaking for Dummies book.

    Good product for the most part.

    After I made the purchase I decided to go to Utube site and see what I could learn. Most of the reviews were negative toward the product. However, since I installed the software I have had no problems with. It has been very accurate for the most part. I have now been using it every day for a week without incident. It is by far a better product than the headset I was using. It may not qualify for a five-star rating but it is a convenient item with a good degree of acuity. The software and the ear-piece is worth the money in my opinion.
