Bose soundtouch
Like every thing with Bose it’s overpriced. The rear speakers are not wireless they have to be wired to a transmitter, and they give you so much wire, you have to figure out how to try to hide it. Bose does not show the transmitter or the wiring or anything in any of it’s advertising pictures. In less than a week I had to re-connect the rear speakers to the main sound bar... Bluetooth is Bluetooth. The audio levels have to be controlled from an app on your phone rather than on the remote. Really! If you didn’t install it you would not know how to operate it! I'm glad that Bose has rebranded them as "Bose Surround Speakers" after all. The "Virtually INVISIBLE" label was a stretch I'm afraid, if not deceptive. These are anything but invisible. In Bose stock pictures, the speakers are portrayed as two cute little cubes sitting on a fancy counter. Nothing could be further from the truth. The power brick is twice as big as the speaker itself and there's two of them which is insane, let alone other connectors and wires (4 wires are now required). Why does Bose not simply integrate the brick and wireless receiver inside the speaker as a single unit? Just like the Subwoofer module. Yes they'd become larger in size and substantially heavier, but not only would it spare us customers all the clutter, actually, it would make the speakers stand out as a ... I don't think anybody would mind them in slightly bigger size with receivers integrated and only a single cord connecting to power. I mean Bose has done it already with their Sub module! Sonos has it. Apple has it, they call them Homepods. The list goes on. The technology is there, why going backwards? I felt they had the chance of presenting us with the PERFECT Home theater experience and they just blew it. I hope the decision wasn't based solely on cost saving and skimming more profit, and until they've figured this out, I've decided not to buy the speakers.

Great for movies
I believe these speakers are ahead of sound technology. They're great with modern movies but most TV programming doesn't use surround or atmos but when technology catches up, I'm set.
