    Great features in a compact package.

    The MK 440 PC is being used in a unique application as the on-board charger in a package to convert my 48V "High Performance" (45 mph)all electric moped (Vmoto 120S) from Silicone Gel to higher capacity, more affordable AGM Batteries. The compact size fit well under the seat, the readout provides clear state-of-charge information and the 40A capacity seems to charge the 4 Vmax 85AH Batteries relatively quickly and without excessive heat. I'm expecting the sophisticated control electronics managing each battery individually will be "smart" enough to extend the useful cycle life of the battery system-- time will tell though I'm encouraged by the results thus far..
