    Great Book

    I really wasn't interested in this book, but I bought it as part of a "lot" on Ebay. I was a little apprehensive about it, being a Christian. I knew it answered the question about where man began and I knew most books like this teach evolution as fact. I was pleasantly surprised to read the answer to where man originated. The author discussed the controversy between evolution and the Bible. It also called it the "theory of evolution", which is what it is. Most authors leave out the "theory" part to insinuate it is fact. I appreciated the author mentioning the conflict the theory of evolution has with those who believe God created man. It makes me more apt to believe the answers to the rest of the book. I would recommend it.

    Great Reference Book

    I bought this book for our grandchildren but see that it is suitable for everyone from age 9 to 99. It contains a wealth of information! It answers many of the questions children ask. The only thing that would make it better is if it contained more pictures and if they were in color.

    Fascinating Reading!!

    This is a totally awesome book- I bought it for my soon to be stepson and decided to glance through it and found I could not put it down!! I know kids ask why? why? why? and now there is a book that tells them the answers- the topics are all short- maybe several paragraphs -but give the explanation clearly- often with drawings or diagrams. It would be more for at least a middle school age child and up(I'm older with a doctorate) but does not talk down to the reader. I finally ended up buying all three of the books--for my soon to be stepson- and will probably buy all three as a set for me- fascinating reading!!
