    Horror-tastic!

    A great combination of some well known movies and some 'lost classics' of two of Horror's main players. My favourite of the bunch which exceded my expectations was 'Horror Express' starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing (another Horror great) and it's mix of monster based thriller and sci-fi storyline really does work well, as does a small cameo from Lt. Kojak (Telly Savalas). Other than this movie, the Price three are classics, quite well remastered and more in the Thriller category than the Horror. The only movie I felt fell short was the Dracula movie, which although starring Peter Cushing again and a fairly young Joanna Lumley, it seems little to do with the actual myth of Dracula or even Vampires. Not the best if you've seen any previous Dracula movies of Christopher Lee's as he ...

    Love the Oldies

    I love the older Horror Movies. Reminds me that as a kid my mom & I would stay up & watch Friday Fright Nite until 2 a.m. I'm not a big fan of the modern Slasher movies. Give me the oldies as Korney as they seem by todays standards & special effects, but I love them just the same. Glad to see that Vincent Price will forever be imortalized thru TV re-runs & DVD's & Christopher Lee is still going strong in bit parts as in the Lord of the Rings sagas as the evil Wizard. They will never get old, just like Samatha Stevens "Bewitched" & Barbara Eden in "I dream of Jeannie" I wish todays Movies & TV shows were still that innocent, perhaps then our children along with ourselves would not act out with such disregard for human life and tolerance of their fellow man.

    brought ole memories of what horror was really about, without all the blood and gore. No naked bodies you were able to use your imagination!
