    Army of Darkness - US Theatrical Release DVD

    Ask any splatoon afficiando worth his salt and he'll tell you without the slightest hesitation that this particlar flick is the "Citizen Kane" of our generation. Although several versions of Army of Darkness are in circulation, this one makes a great gift for newbies if you're turning them onto the genre for the first time. Although the Boomstick Edition is more befitting for the experienced Evil Dead fanatic, the U.S. Theatrical Release eases the newcomer into the water, and provides them with a sound basis in Campbellology. Taking an ED virgin and hitting them with the original Evil Dead is like showing up for Driver's Ed class in highscool and finding out that you'll be driving a Formula One at Indy that day; sure it's possible, but the average Joe just couldn't cope and would ...

    Tongue in cheek horror that is sure to please!

    Army Of Darkness (AKA: Evil Dead 3) is the final chapter in the Evil Dead saga. All 3 film are very loosely tied together. In fact, 1 & 2 are just retellings of the same story, but I digress. The films became campier with each one & this is by far the campiest of the bunch. But it still has it's moments of pure terror as well. AOD picks up where #2 left off, sort of. Ash (Bruce Campbell) is back in the real world working at his job at "S Mart". He tells a hot fellow employee a tale about a terrifying adventure he has had. We switch to Ash being led with other medieval soldiers, chained together prisoners of Lord Arthur, a medieval warlord. Obviously, we are back in time just as the 2nd film left us. But instead of being a hero as the 2nd film led us to believe, Ash is just a prisoner. He ...

    Army of Darkness is Amazing

    Army of Darkness Army of Darkness is one of my all-time favorite Low-Budget horror films. It's B-Level Movie at it's absolute best. With a bigger budget the special effects and costumes are a lot better than the first two Evil Dead films but the element of cheese is still there. Bruce Campbell delivers one of the best performances in cinematic history and really solidified himself as one of the Baddest Men on the Planet. Army of Darkness is hilarious, action-packed, and a little freaky at times. Army of Darkness is a classic and it belongs in everybodies DVD collections, right next to Evil Dead 1 & 2. Final Verdict: 5/5 Rent or Buy?: A must buy, along with Evil Dead 1 & 2. IF YOU FIND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE. Thank you.

    Not a scary movie, but a great movie none the less.

    Sci-fi Fantasy movie about a man going back in time. Bruce Campbell delivers a great role. The "darkness" has taken over the land and Ash (Bruce Campbell) is sent back in time and ends up saving a kingdom from this "Evil". B grade movie with cheesy 19th century smack down. This movie has some great one liners and even some slap-stick humor. If your looking for a scary movie with great computer animation this is not the movie for you, but if you just want a fun "sit-down-and-have-a-good-time" movie its a good one.
