Based on the best-selling Dark Horse comic book series, RoboCop vs. The Terminator brings two of Hollywood's most cherished cybernetic creations to the Sega Genesis. In this alternate future world, RoboCop's neural networks are used in the creation of Skynet, a ruthless organization of self-aware machines bent on the extinction of mankind. As RoboCop, you must travel time to destroy Skynet and its legion of Terminators, robotic dogs, Endoskeletons, and spiders. You begin RoboCop vs. The Terminator toting a pistol. As you progress through the 10 levels of play, you can find laser guns, grenade launchers, plasma rifles, ED-209 Gatling guns, bazookas, flame throwers, and homing missile guns. You can only carry two of the weapons at once, but each weapon has unlimited firepower. As you walk, climb, jump, and shoot your way through the 10 levels of play, an arsenal of automated weapons constantly use you for target practice. Your mission will take you to Detroit, a toxic farm, the OCP Office Complex, the Terminator Outpost, Skynet, and other dangerous places.

Old School FUN!
As an adult gamer I go back into my box(s) of older platforms and find gems like this game. RoboCop verses Terminator is a nice "shoot em up" scrolling game from the days when three buttons on a controller were enough. The rating of MA-13 is laughable by todays standards, but times and tastes change. If you want a game that helps you think, then skip this title. If you want a game that feeds the shoot, complete levels, and enjoy being a kid again, then look no further. Not a bad deal on eBay for 20-30 bucks for a used complete game.As an adult gamer I go back into my box(s) of older platforms and find gems like this game. Definitely a Genesis gem
A fast paced action adventure. Being one of the later releases this game really shows what could be done on the Sega Genesis. Smooth animations, beautifully drawn sprites and a decent weapon selection and with solid game gameplay. Just make sure you don’t lose all of your upgrade weapons before a boss fight.
