    A hobbyist’s dream!

    While this is nowhere near the quality ( nor the price!) of a professional lab centrifuge, it suits the amateur very well. It’s a really great bargain and does the job well. Just keep in mind that It’s not meant to be run at 4,000 rpm all day every day. Has worked perfectly for me on a once or twice daily basis since I got it. Update: this centrifuge is meant to be run with the translucent top OFF! If you leave it on, the heat from the motor has nowhere to escape and yes, it will heat up your specimens. If you leave the top open, no problem.
