  • Patients will have to be “applied “!

Driver side “frame “ is warped a little, had to heat a few times to get it in the right way. Quad gun fixture is VERY tricky to get all of the guns to line up right! Upper ammo cans do NOT set right with out a spacer added to fit over the bottom guns. Still a good model to have with a little patience!

  • M35A1 Quad 50 - lots of close-in firepower

I did not have experience in Vietnam with Quad 50s, as we used 40mm Dusters for convoy security. This model is well detailed and looks accurate. Weapons such as these were built by each unit as field expedients. It appears to be feasible as a good defensive weapon with a lot of firepower. We used weapons like this and the 40mm Duster to put lots of firepower on the kill zones of ambush sites before we could get artillery or air support on the target. The other advantage was that the VC tried to get close to us to minimize air and artillery. A Quad 50 was perfect for close-in fighting. If you have never experienced combat with a .50 caliber, it is way more firepower than an M116 or M60. I volunteered with the Wings Over the Rockies for their B17 experience. One day, I was ...

  • AFV GUN TRUCK

Worst model I have ever built, and I have built 100s of them. Very poor moldings, very poor fit of parts, over all. Last AFV model I will buy

  • WORST! JUNK products ! Don't worst a penny.

Don't waste money on this item. Instruction is a nightmare and you have to figure it yourself for the assembly position. it will be the last AFV CLUB I will purchase.

  • Gun trucks in THE NAM

Rare subject matter in this scale. You'll discover in your research that "gun trucks" were mostly field modifications created by enlisted troops in the NAM.
