    This is a VERY good seller. Communication was certainly good and shipping free. But I should note that making this electrical box with the pieces involved would be triple the cost. So, I'm using a recycled unit and that's important. Otherwise a perfectly good thing would wind up in the landfill. And, I'll point out, the seller accepted a reasonable offer. Which I don't normally do. I will buy again and you should too.

    Great replacement batteries, some assembly required.

    These are great batteries, at a great price. However, your APC 1500 model actually requires 2 of these batteries *which is why they sell them in kits), I think they are wired is SERIES to provide 24 volts to the unit. What I did not know is that you have to remove the stock battery, and then remove the plastic "tape" that binds both stock batteries together. All this time I thought it was 1 big battery, when actually it was 2 taped together. You will need some GOOD duck tape or similar to hold these batteries to the plastic middle piece that holds them together. Then you need to replace the wires. They have quick connector adapters so no soldering is required. After everything is where it should be, you tape both batteries together to make a unit that will slide back into your UPS ...

    Old tech is better

    Just what I needed.I had just replaced battery pack in mine and power surge took it out. these have been much better in my opinion than the newer ones not to disparage the new ones but the one that failed was 15 plus years old and had gone through 2 sets of batteries starting on its 3rd when it finally failed.
