        Great but loud

        This is a great induction burner, but the one issue that is fairly common with all inductions is the loudness of the cooling fan. After a while you get used to it but it is distracting at first. Other than that I have no complaints on the burner.

        Learning to favor Induction over natural gas. A great introduction!

        Wonderful induction cooker. You choose your method of cooking, either by selecting max temperature, or 20 cooking power settings. Draws 15 amps max so don’t overload the kitchen circuit you have it on - usually rated at 20 amps. Also, NO extension cords. Works great with medium size pans. The induction unit (magnet) under the cooker glass top cover has a diameter of about 5 inches. A pot close to this size will get heated evenly throughout its bottom. A large pasta pot, however, will boil pasta, but the heating is focused on the pots center 5 or 6 inches. Easy to clean the glass cooktop with only a dampened paper towel and a little blob of dish soap. Only annoyance is the essential cooling fan in the unit is somewhat loud, but shuts off automatically after about one minute once cooking is ...

        Am still practicing, but so far I'm very happy with it. There's a learning curve for sure, so have to keep a close eye on it so as not to burn things while learning.
