Very Precise and Accurate for the price.
Very precise and accurate according to 3 other micrometers I have had the chance to come by including a Sterrett. This micrometer also comes with a certificate that states the in-close standard is traceable back to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. While calibrating to the standard, I noted the well matched parallelism between spindle and anvil. It has a smooth friction ratchet thimble, which is made of plastic as well as the digital display frame, but is well made and sturdy beside that fact.
