This copy is a top quality printing produced by Franklin Library with marbled end pages and silk page marker and gold page edges all around. The covers are clean and all of the decorations and gold print are bright and sharp. There are no stickers or marks inside. The corners are sharp and free from any bumping. The gold page edges does have a scratch on the bottom edge. There are several double page color illustrations by Thomas Rowlandson. Book size is 6 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches tall, 736 pages. The Franklin Library was selected as the printer for "The Oxford Library of the World's Great Books" series due to their high quality leather bindings and acid free paper.”
