Item was received in quite a timely delivery indeed. Installation went great and unit is working as designed however, it is quite noisy sounds like a Learjet's engine. No kidding. Perhaps the bearings is probably not so good. I'm hoping it'll get quite as time goes by. Now should you feel that the excessive / loud noise has anything to do with longevity of the alternator, kindly comment please! Nash
