    I have a tactical shotgun with shells loaded in the gun and it slips slowly down the shaft of the barrel. It hasn't fallen out of the grip but that's only because the little iron sight keeps it from slipping the last inch. Perhaps if the gun were not loaded it would not be quite as heavy? Anyway it works as advertised but just keep that up slipping in mind.

    Hi and thank you for the feedback. I think it best to keep the butt resting on the floor instead of suspended...eliminating the risk of falling.
