Most of the surf rods here in the U.S. are quite heavy when compared to rods like this one. Rods that weigh a lot are not pleasant to use with injuries. This one is half the weight and just as capable as my heftier rods. Everything was well packed and very well protected. The rod is new as described. Order processing and shipping times were most excellent. Thanks!!
