Received the album fast, packaged well. Unfortunately the album had a a significant scratch and was unplayable. The album was and appeared to be new so the seller would not have been aware of the defect. When i reported the problem, with accompanying pics the seller immediately refunded the purchase.     Nelly Furtado - Lose

    Item was described as “very good”. I would just say it’s “good”. The cd itself skips around just a little bit. Has some scratches only visible to the human eye. The case was very beat up with a crack in it but it’s used so it’s understandable. Would recommend for 1.99 though! A great add to my collection.

    A Cool Contender

    Coming from an underground musical perspective I was doubtful if not skeptical of Nelly Furtado's previous records; a bit too much Top 10 throwaway pop. This album however is much more my cup o'tea. With the punchy single 'Promiscuous' paving the way for Loose, this album is ambitious, current and wide in scope. Though it threads together ceherently and fluidly, each track rightfully holds its own. A definite stroke of genius hiring Timbaland to produce; the beats are tight, crisp and adventurous. The songwriting quality really takes off after track four, 'Glow'. Beforehand its very poppy, including the catchy Promiscuous, but as the album progresses, the breadth and maturity of the songwriting expands and the record and opens up to reveal colorful sonic beauty. On the song 'No Hay Igual' ...

    Good Beats Latin Vibe

    Nelly Furtado has put out a lot of great CD's over the years but none of them match up to the sound of Loose. This CD has a number of great songs including the obvious hits like "Say it Right", "ManEater" and "Promiscious" but the rest of the songs are upbeat, hip, flowing and new. They are original sounds which makes the CD a worth while buy.

    Now,I&apos;m sorry but this album was absolotely unfathomable to a long time fan of Nellys. I could not believ with the first 2 minutes of the CD how much of a sell-out she had become. Now for all of us who know how Nelly used to be you would probbly be shocked too. She got rid of everything that I once had respect for her for,and went totally Pop-Hop. Now there is usually nothing wrong with this when a person starts out their career this way,at least you know they&apos;ve been like that for a while and didn&apos;t CHANGE theirselfs,but Nelly really just took it over board. I could not believe the girl who once had a beautiful,soulful meassage that shined theough her UNIQUE look now is just all too very mainstream. I hope not to offend anyone,but I just couldn&apos;t believe it. Now there ...
