    Rifleman and Son Excellent

    Recently buying old TV Western Series and are addicted . The Rifleman is one of the best. Fine scripts, believable characters ,fine acting by stars and guest stars. Connors was up to task of playing loving but rough & tough widowed father , unafraid to show his emotions to his son at a time when Macho Cowboys didn't do such unmanly showing of emotions. Johnny Crawford (was even Emmy-Nominated for this roll! ) was so convincing that he almost outdid Opie Taylor - Crawford was the better actor but Opie remains the cutest TV Son ever. Heartwarming series even touched on strong religious faith of the characters, which many early series (even I Love Lucy !) did not . Well worth any price for lovers of wholesome entertainment - much needed in our society today .

    The Rifle man

    Absolutely love it! Those were the day's when a real western movie meant something and always had a good plot to it! I wasn't even born yet when this episode came out but yrs ago always watching it with my dad in the early 70s as a young kid brings back a lotta fond memories!

    Rifleman good as it gets

    I always enjoy watching an old western. Rifleman still has its charm even after all the years. This is a good value and great to own along with the rest of the series.
