    Wonder completion of the Story

    For anyone who has read the first two books (My Side of the Mountain and The Far Side of the Mountain) this a must read. It completes the story of Sam Gribley and his mountain, but through the eyes of Frightful his majestic and devoted Peregrine Falcon. In the beginning it focuses on her and her life without Sam, but towards the end they are reunited. Their relationship has changed but they still have their special bond. There is no age limit for these books, young, old, every and anyone who has every wondered what it would be like to live in an unspoiled nature will fall in love with these books. It should be a requirement of all persons to read all three of these books. They are that wonderful and inspiring.

    More than gently used

    I perhaps did not read in between the lines, the book was highlighted every where with tabs and underlining I didn't realize there was that much going on with the book. I would not have purchased, but it was cheap and we were desperate.

    Nice follow up to one of my favorite childhood books. My Side of the Mountain. This is the third book in the series. I'm using it to get my teenager interested in reading for fun.

    The story from Frightful's point of view

    It was really enjoyable to see Frightful's view of things, and it really fleshed out the story. If you have read the first two books, you will definitely want to read this one.
