    Hardcover full Old and New Testament Gideon Bible. Great condition.

    Gideon Bible is written in the New King James Version translation, much like the old King James Version, but modernized so it is easier to read and understand. This is the same Bible found in hotel rooms. The binding and cover are sturdy and seem well made. The pages are not flimsy like in many other Bibles. The clarity of the type font is a plus and makes it easy to read.

    The title tells it like it is: THE (one and only) HOLY (consecrated to God) BIBLE (Jewish and Christian scriptures)

    There are only strong pros to reading the Holy Bible. It is the true Word of God and leads one to salvation through Jesus Christ. It is one solid read from the first verse in Genesis to the last verse in Revelation!

    KJV is better than NKJV

    The 1611 English Bible is still the standard and does not need to be updated. It was accepted by the Church as inspired for over 300 years and still is. But in 1901, the Thomas Nelson Company began to print it under the erroneous name King James Version in order to discredit it, so that they could sell more books, by claiming that the Bible needs to be updated now and again. The New King James Version is not a legitimate update. It is a trick to get people to cross over to the modern versions, so that more books can be sold. Consider this-if someone really believed that the Bible is the word of God, would they educate themselves by learning those few old words that are not in use today, or would they completely rewrite God's words to make it easier to read?
