    Mother Earths Gifts

    One of the very best and most readable books that describes the Magic and Medicine of Plants. Excellent photos, plant location, and, as a physician, I found the book to be medically accurate and instructive. Generally we are not aware of the bounty we live in. This book brings the ancient healing arts into focus. I have given this book to a number of my collogues, friends and patients. All agree, that the content and clear writing are superb. Highly recommended.

    Awesome book!! Adds lots of knowledge to my library of other books!

    Very easy to understand. Great for planet reseach. it has solid basic information about all the plants in the book. I am very proud to own it. The back also gives information of herb suppliers, Seed and Plant. Also tells of Cooking with Herbs which has helped me alot. Ideals for planning an Herd Garden with some designs and information on where and how to plant the herbs so they do not blend together. also cultivating requirements and uses for all the best herbs. I do very much recommend this book for knowledge on the magic and home medicine from the original times with they did not have pharmacies.

    Getting Back To Basics with PLANT MAGIC AND MEDICINE

    This is one great book which has been brought to the public from Readers' Digest Editors. It is very clear with understanding how plants can help us NATURALLY get back to basics when it comes taking better care of ourselves and our health. Magic and Medicine of Plants is thorough, easy to read and understand and Readers' Digest has once again put out a book that is a mainstay - a great coffee table book but NOT JUST FOR LOOKS ' this one is meant to be read'. This book was purchased on eBay by me for a friend of mine who is 72 yrs. young. She does not use computers' but anytime she is in need of a book from her past we search eBay and also Amazon. This book is complete

    Great for teaching us how 2 heal using mother nature

    What I really love about this book is that it teaches us how not to depend on chemicals\drugs that are fabricated to mimic natures way of healing. We have all fell prey to the convience of modern day medicine which nearly all have side effects and worse we have forgotten about the foundation of science medicine which is what nature is and has provided since the beginning of time. I decided to buy this book becouse I was looking for an alternative source of pain relief and an anti dependency on man made drugs that could become habit forming and have bad side affects so, I turned to a more natural approach and have had great results useing the books advice.
