Great film about THE LONE RANGER, and along with Tonto. Best action, 10-minutes finale that needs to be seen, as good as any Super Hero type movies out there now. DVD in EX condition. Very fast shipping and delivery.

    "Bird Angry"

The original Tonto (Jay Silverheels) would be unhappy with the headdress Depp created, but as you watch the movie, it becomes part of the fun. Depp & Hammer are a great pair & seemingly "bounced off each other". The movie tends to drag at times, but after watching the blooper first before the movie, you get a great laugh from knowing what went on during the filming. Great cast, excellent special effects & better than a "Lone Ranger Purist" would expect.

    They Slaughtered the Lone Legacy

When this movie was released everyone said it was awful and Ididnt see it. I decided to buy it and watch it and everyone was right-it was terrible. Yes, there was some funny parts, but Tonto was a deranged freak. And both the Lone Ranger and Tonto were dysfunctional towards each other. 'Nuff said!

  • More than expected

I'm a long time fan of The Lone Ranger. I grew up watching Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels portray the "masked man and his trusty Indian sidekick" Saturday mornings on TV back in New York. When a new version was produced back in 1981 (The Legend of the Lone Ranger) with Klinton Spilsbury - who never appeared in another motion picture, as the Ranger and Michael Horse as Tonto (Which means Wild One), I was disappointed as many others as to the poor quality of the film overall. Therefore, I had doubts about this new version with Johnny Depp. With Disney behind it and Depp's successes with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise I, as well as many, felt this would be a "westernized" version of Capt. Jack. The movie trailers and marketing approach taken by Disney sort of "confirmed" that ...

  • Best Lone Ranger Movie Ever

The story was exciting and kept me engaged from beginning to end. Great comedy coming with the action. Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer were both excellent in their roles.

  • "WHO WAS THAT MASKED MAN THAT MADE DISNEY SOME MONEY?"...

I always loved the Lone Ranger, especially since the classic character is loosely based on the African-American legendary real-life western hero and lawman, Bass Reeves. This movie was very fun to watch. Loved the direction that Disney took with the character. Just wished that there was less Tonto and more screen time given to The Lone Ranger. Really hoping for a sequel someday. A cool movie.
