    For bird lovers

    This book list many interesting facts regarding migration. It is somewhat helpful in identifying birds. Also has migratory patterns. Explains the changes in color pattern as birds mature. I wish the pictures were more detailed.

    Complete and accurate with excellent bird renditions.

    Typical National Geographic product. It is very thorough and complete with excellent renditions of the birds. I bought the item as I live in a rural area, also near the coast, with many different species and it is an invaluable asset in identification of same. Other books with pictures don't always provide sufficient definition to identify a particular bird whereas this books drawings do just that. I highly recommend this book in any of it's editions.

    Buy this book for easily learning.

    Well written for easy understanding of adults and kids. Well organized. Easy to carry along and look up birds during an outdoor adventure. Nice pictures.

    Field Guide to the Birds of North America

    This book was well worth every cent it cost....very nice book. Very easy to use...shows male...females...and the Juvenile in full colors..range maps are easy to use...just a wonderful book to have Even the Grandkids like looking and identifing the birds at our feeders.

    Great book for birding

    If you are looking for a birding book, this one is excellent. It was recommended to me by my ornithology professor and the pictures are very well done. It is easy to use and very complete.
