    Misleading

    I expected a human/dog relationship developing slowly, but consistently over the length of the book. Instead, that relationship seems to limp along with little comment until the middle of the book (I guess). I gave up reading it due to its lack of interest to me. The part that deals with abuse victims and their direction towards healing was interesting. That could have made a good book. I felt cheated; I wanted the dog/human book.
