SR 35 MY REVIEW
Great little radio. I live in a mountainous area with normal terrible radio reception but this pulls in hard to get stations because of long antenna. Sounds really great. Very satisified. Bought a total of three. Family members love it.

Did Get a bad One
The Sangean SR-35 sounds great and it's speaker sounds much bigger than the radio's size would indicate. FM selectivity and sensitivity are good also. My only problem is that my unit seems to turn off all on it's own (despite having new batteries installed). I bought the unit because the manufacturer's site stated that it had AM stereo. So far I have not heard a stereo AM signal in my area (many broadcasters have since moved their old AM stereo standards over to HD radio). Had a C-QUAM AM stereo broadcaster been available in my area and the power issue were solved I might have loved this little radio.The Sangean SR-35 sounds great and it's speaker sounds much bigger than the radio's size would indicate. Excellent little radio
After draining my car battery a few times listening to talkshows during my lunch breaks (turning on my car radio also activates a dash cam and gps unit) , I bought this inexpensive unit to keep in my glovebox. I am amazed at the sound volume and quality of this little radio, and at the reception quality of the AM band. The tuning is a little tricky, so I deducted one star for that, but the tuning indicator light helps a lot. I also have a $70 Sangean digital pocket radio and this analog unit actually sounds better and has equal reception. Good size, reception, sound, and great quality !
I thank the SANGEAN SR-35 is a very fine quality radio. I like the light that lights up on strong incoming signals. It's a good size, great reception. I think it makes a great radio to listen to and use in emergencies. I just like it !

Small size small sound
The little analog pocket radio is better than I expected in that it actually works in these all-digital times. The two major drawbacks for me are: 1) tuner width is narrow so that stations with less strength are hard to tune in. 2): with earphones, the reception is reduced, as well as volume making it hard to hear in crowds or high traffic.
